We have been involved in the payroll and HR systems selection and implementation industry for a long time. One of the things that differentiates us from others is that when our client asks us to, we can get involved in the actual doing and not just the advising.
Recently a well-known software publisher's internal implementation team failed to complete in a timely or professional manner a data conversion they were hired by our client to do. Lots of promises were made; few were kept. Our client was very frustrated, and they asked us to take over the data conversion and get it done so they could move ahead and just get past this part of the implementation. The owners of the company had reached the point that either the problems got fixed quickly or the move to the new systems ended. Data related to over 10,000 employees was involved, so it was not a small problem.
We stepped in and quickly cleaned up that mess and that allowed our client to finish the implementation process and get up and running on the new systems that they had previously chosen to implement in their business. Without that effort on our part our client would have been forced to write of many thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours of time that they had already invested in the move to their new systems and just go back to a system that everyone at the company absolutely despised. Being able to do rather than just talk is important when you are being asked to help a client with an unexpected situation.
Another key to our successful track record is that we are team players. Nobody knows it all. That is why we actively develop relationships with other firms and individuals that are subject-matter experts in areas that we are not. We will work well with your staff and the other professionals that you already have relationships with or help you find help when appropriate. Implementing a new payroll or HR system works best when it is thought of as a team sport. Teams that work well together produce the best results. Your team will like working with our team.
We also understand that our client's ability to completely trust us is key to our and their success and that is why the only thing we sell is our time. Most firms and individuals that work in this industry have a very strong incentive to sell or recommend to you a specific solution as that is what they get paid to do. We have chosen not to sell any payroll or HR systems or accept any third-party commissions or payments as that makes it a lot easier to avoid any potential conflict of interests. We are committed to making sure that our client’s best interests are our best interests. Period.
